A recent audit released in November 2012 finds that the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has been slow to report on teacher misconduct in the school district. According to the report, LAUSD officials have repeatedly failed to promptly inform a California panel about serious allegations of teacher misconduct, teacher perversity, teacher lewdness, and numerous incidents of LAUSD teacher employees groping and molesting children at will.
For the record, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California. The Los Angeles Unified School District is the 2nd largest public school district in the United States, behind only the New York City Department of Education.
In recent years, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has served over 700,000 students, and has over 46,473 teachers and over 39,594 other employees.
Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the second largest employer in Los Angeles County, after the county government.
The numbers are impressive, but so is the peril to children and youth. It is estimated that approximately 3 percent of LAUSD teachers have engaged in some form of prohibited conduct involving either students or teachers.
The recent audit is indeed frightening, but should not come as any surprise because the standards of employment for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) have been steadlily droppng for over 20 years. As the school systems contends with numerous new citizens, recent immigrants, an surge in various nationalities, new and expanding definitions of societal standards and mores, and its regid attempts to recruit a workforce that can accomodate such vast dissimilarities, it is not altogether surprising that various problems will arise.
Approximately, 10 months ago, the Los Angeles Unified School District was left reeling by the arrest of a teacher at Miramonte Elementary School for allegedly spoon-feeding semen to students in a classroom. Clearly, he teacher involved must have been involved in some incident prior to this sick episode.
At the time, Los Angeles Unified School District officials acknowledged that they did not swiftly send all serious misconduct allegations to a government commission on Teacher Credentialing, which apparently keeps a database that school systems use to verify teaching licenses.
The shocking audit found that Los Angeles Unified School District officials submitted at least 144 cases of alleged teacher misconduct more than a year later than required, and at least 31 of cases of alleged teacher perversity/misconduct were not submitted until at least three years after the accusation or act; consequently, the safety of students and fellow teachers were being neglected.
In school districts such as the Los Angeles Unified School District officials and the Clark County School District (another hit bed of teacher perversity), students and parents need to be informed of teachers who have been accused, warned, or lawfully charged with misconduct.
So, what does all this mean for students and youth? The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) must do a better job of teacher recruitment, and background investigations. Single teachers need to be scrutinized more, along with single men.

In fact, Clark County school teachers, and the Clark County Education Association that promotes the illicit agenda of the Clark County school teachers, had the federal grant intended for thoudands of Clark County students in their cross-hairs for months. Clark County school teachers have been secretly urging the Clark County Education Association to REJECT any funding for Clark County students that even remotely impacts the salaries of the worst teachers in the U.S.A.
It is no secret that the Clark County Education Association has been at odds (extreme conflict, actually) with the Clark County School District for several years. The dispute IS NOT about school supplies, text books, or class-room space, or the integrity of the teaching process. No. The only and most significant dispute that the Clark County Education Association has had with the Clark County School District is the size and rate of teacher salary increases.
Clark County, Nevada residents and parents have not the backbone to protest this sort of fraud, deceit, and inferior use of educational resources. Slavery may have ended over 200 years ago, but many Clark County residents have the mindset of 17th century slaves waiting for the crumbs thrown beneath their feet and to the ground by the Clark County Education Association.
While Clark County teachers have affairs with other teachers, meet the married spouses of their targets at local Starbucks, and dress in fashionable clothes each day, parents and students have been told to SHUT-UP. More specificially, parents have been told to shut the F$#$ up, and accept:
- crowded classrooms;
- no text-books;
- voided exams that have not been graded due to budget cuts;
- sex-crazed, perverted teachers that target married spouses of other teachers, as well as minors;
- low standards
The Clark County Education Association, which is one of the most despicable, student-hating unions in the U.S.A., was required to approve the request by the Clark County School District. Instead of seeking the best interests of the students, The Clark County Education Association (i.e., the Clark County school teachers) viewed the proposed grant-in-waiting as a threat to teacher salaries, and their fiefdom. According to local media reports, the federal grant would have benefited 41,000 students at 63 Clark County schools, and would have provided funding for high-technology tools and literacy intervention. Additionally, the Clark County School District also could have hired at least 22 teachers plus 24 support staff.
Like mind-controlled robots and slaves, parents will never protest the actions of the teachers because many Clark County parents simply do not read or understand the fact that the Clark County Education Association is playing poltics and greed with their children's education.

The answer to that question is really simple because Governor Mitt Romney never offered not a comprehensive student plan to increase scholarships, grants, and financial-aid for millions of Americans. Governor Romney never offered to promote and encourage millions of students to apply for scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars.
National Academy of American Scholars offered to meet with the top representatives of Mitt Romney, but all we were provided access to was the California campaign director.
Governor Mitt Romney did not seem to understand the importance and the role of National Academy of American Scholars connecting students to sponsored scholarships, grants, and financial-aid.
The position of Barack Obama is fairly clear: support private and non-profit programs like National Academy of American Scholars, and encourage other private entities and non-profit programs to sponsor scholarships, grants, and financial-aid programs, as well as low-cost student debt instruments that involves little government assistance, no new taxes, and which are 100% financed by the private sector.
Americans gave Mr. Romney several months to articulate his position on student financial-aid, student scholarships, grants, and loans. Yet, Mr. Romney fumbled the ball, and lost an election that was within his reach. Mitt Romney NEVER reached out to support private and non-profit scholarship sponsors like National Academy of American Scholars.

The position of Barack Obama is fairly clear: he envisions the federal government assisting millions of students secure financing for their collegiate education. President Barack Obama proposes the following student loan reform measures.
President Obama compares his scholarships, grants, and financial-aid plans with Romney's positions. Specifically, President Obama promotes a "Pay As You Earn" plan, which caps monthly federal student loan repayment at 10 percent of monthly discretionary income. It also breaks down benefits depending on where someone lives.
Whereas his opponent, Mitt Romney offered not a plan but a rebuke to current and touted scholarship, grants, and financial-aid plans. For example, Mitt Romney was asked by a college student in August 2012 what he would do if elected to address the student debt crisis. Romney said. "I am not going to tell you something that is not the truth, because you know, that is just taking money from your other pocket and giving it to the other pocket."
Romney added, "I'm not going to promise all sorts of free stuff that I know you're going to end up paying for. What I want to do is give you a great job so you'll be able to pay it back yourself. And I want to get the government off your back, so you can keep more of what you earned."
That sounds wonderful from Mitt Romney. However, if you are going to give us sugar-coated soothing words, we need at least some bread and/or meat too.
The Obama plan for improving scholarships, grants, and financial-aid appears to represent at least a sandwich of solid proposals whereas Mitt Romney suggests to students to simply borrow more funds from your parents. We all know that traditional parents do not have an extra $15,000, or $45,000 sitting around the house. Perhaps the friends of Mitt Romney, a reputed billionaire, have such funds; however, the typical American parent does not.
If students are going to borrow money, I suggest that your parents should be your last alternative. Your first option should be private lenders. One great source is detailed in our article about student loans, and personal loans.

If we just look at student-loan debt alone, it is expected to exceed one TRILLION dollars by the end of this year.
Let's imagine that we could help you drastically reduce your student loan debt or credit-card debt. By reducing your student loan debt, you would certainly give yourself more purchasing power and financial relief.
The good news is that there IS help out there. First, though, you have to WANT the help. If you WANT to get help, then I encourge you to seek the services of Prosper. The company is really an outstanding loan company that specializes in a variety of loans and debt-consolidation programs.
Many of our scholarship recipients have used the company in the past to help pay-off their high-interest debt.

Under NASFAA, and the National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA), the most wasteful federal legislation in the history of financial-aid was passed and put into law: The College Scholarship Fraud Prevention Act of 2000. On the surface, the College Scholarship Fraud Prevention Act of 2000 is a law touted by members and advertisers of NASFAA to curb alleged fraud by scholarship administrators, and sponsors. In reality, not a single traditional scholarship sponsor has EVER been prosecuted under the law IN OVER 12 YEARS SINCE ITS PASSAGE!, and very few of the persons/organizations targeted under the College Scholarship Fraud Prevention Act of 2000 has been prosecuted. The only persons prosecuted under the law by the GOP/FTC have been Africans or Hispanics.
In plain and simple terms, the real purpose of The College Scholarship Fraud Prevention Act of 2000 has always been to help members of NASFAA, including student loan companies, and members of the NSPA, undermine the purses and wallets of students by using their networked members of guidance counselors, and college financial-aid officers to steer students and parents toward the financial-aid products and services of NASFAA members. student loans and scholarships sponsored by NASFAA members, and members of NACAC, and NSPA.
Low-cost and FREE scholarship sponsors, such as National Academy of American Scholars, who refuse to pay unnecessary middle-man fees to either NASFAA, or National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA), are left out of the loop, and therefore guidance counselors do not perform their role in informing students of the numerous scholarships, grants, and financial-aid that is sponsored and made available by organizations that are NOT members of National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA) or NASFAA.
The new law signed by President Barack Obama effectively and appropriately maintains a firm distance away from and strips banks/members of NASFAA of their role as middlemen in federal student loans and puts the government in charge. No longer do students and parents have to be raped by members of NASFAA or NACAC, or National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA.
President Obama says the new system will save more than $60 billion over the next 10 years. That money will go toward Pell Grants for students and investments in community colleges and historically black institutions.
Students looking for scholarships, grants, and financial-aid should steer clear of any orgnization(s) linked to NASFAA/NSPA.

At the same time, of course, Facebook prohibits its own users from using automated bots. Facebook is like a gigantic collection of useless parts that emits a foul odor whereupon curious onlookers flock. Hence, the large number of Facebook users.
The real value of Facebook is really not much more different than a heavily-trafficked Forum board.
In due time, I would not be at all surprised that Mark Zuckerberg, the person who apparently lifted the idea of Facebook from the pockets of Harvard personnel, will be found to be little different from Lance Armstrong; a hugely successful cheater.
Let's consider the facts about FaceBook. FaceBook, Inc DOES cheat, and FaceBook is DISHONEST per an FTC ruling this year. Fearful that Facebook would disable its Facebook account, FTC personnel DID NOT fine FaceBook for violating the privacy rights of consumers. The same FTC personnel slapped Google with a record fine for a much less serious infraction.
Is Facebook slick artist Mark Zuckerberg really the Lance Aermstrong of Social Media? Be cautious before purchasing any Facebook ads. Very few Facebook users click on Facebook ads. The ad space you buy may simply be a magnet for facebook bots.
Another routine scheme used by FaceBook is the fake post. FaceBook tricks people into believing they are "posting" content on independent third-party timelines, but in reality the "posted" content is ONLY visible to the same I.P. that posted it. This tactic is called MIRAGE POST-FRAUD (failure to provide Honest Services as required by U.S. federal laws).
It is a matter of debate about the extent of FaceBook fraud. However, it is believed in some circles that FaceBook Inc fraud is extensive. For more information about Facebook, please purchase our soon-to-be-released book detailing the tactics used by Facebook Inc to cheat consumers, advertisers, and why Facebook ads are NOT effective.
Much of the details of the book come directly from a former Facebook employee, whose relative was awarded a scholarship from National Academy of American Scholars several years ago.
We believe the true value of Facebook stock is really less than $5.00.
If FaceBook were really providing a legitimate service, then it would not have to engage in desperation tactics, censorship of legitimate products, and services, and what many consider to be deceitful conduct, etc. All of these tactics and the culture of FaceBook Inc. will cause the company to fail in due time.

More importantly, there is little likelihood that any value will come from the newly submitted trademark application of ScholarshipPoints because there is little chance of its approval. The phrase ScholarshipPoints does not meet the legal standards of registration based upon sound legal grounds, and based upon the fact that the phrase scholarship points is also used by National Academy of American Scholars and **many other organizations to engage students and to distribute scholarship merit points for award consideration.
It is important to note that National Academy of American Scholars also uses scholarship merit points to determine, classify, and categorize scholarship applicants. We have used scholarship points for over 20 years. We encourage the U.S. Trademark office to use sound legal judgement, and then politely recite the legal facts as to why the phrase "scholarshippoints" does not merit legal protection.
We congratulate Scholarship Points on its continuing social media success. However, the ill-advised trademark application submitted by ScholarshipPoints.Com is not surprising considering the lack of general qualifications and minimal credentials needed for a student to obtain a monthly “scholarship” from ScholarshipPoints.
For scholarships, grants, and financial-aid options that will impress colleges, employers, and community leaders, we recommend that students first consider scholarships, grants, and financial-aid options that are actually sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars.

Friday, August 10, 2012
Nonetheless, National Academy of American Scholars is still sponsoring over $1 million worth of Scholarships, Grants, and Loans. In fact, over $100,000 in scholarships, grants, and financial-aid targeted specifically for high-school seniors went unused last year because too many high-school counselors did not distribute literature sponsored and approved by National Academy of American Scholars.
At a time when families are struggling with unemployment and strained resources, it is not only unethical but outrageous that professional, employed, and working guidance counselors would not offer FREE informaion to students and parents seeking resourceful information about scholarships, grants, and financial-aid.
If you are a student attending any high-school in the U.S.A. and your guidance counselor DID NOT inform you or at least share information on their respective web site (via a shared link) about the numerous scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars then you have a legitimate complaint for misfeasance; U.S. Guidance counselors have a legal and binding duty to discharge their statutory obligations; and it is an established rule of tort and civil laws that an action lies in favour of persons injured (i.e. eligible scholarship students and unemployed parents) by misfeasance, i.e. by negligence of guidance counselors in discharge of their legal duty to share with students resourceful and valuable financial-aid information.

Just a day earlier, electronic evidence indicates that Vegas.Com had cryed and pooh-poohed to FaceBook Inc that Scholarships, Grants, and Loans was posting SPAM to its accounts. In fact, Scholarships, Grants, and Loan was providing far more resourceful, valuable, and meaningful information than the scantily-clad, useless, half-naked pictures that Vegas.Com routinely posts on its Vegas.Com social media channels.
I guess this POST is SPAM also that deserves to be censored.
How is the picture of half-naked women going to benefit students in Nevada or Facebook users? These are the type of senseless pictures routinely posted by Vegas.Com; one of the biggest print advertisers in Nevada. Billboards of Vegas.Com consume freeway travel routes to Southern California, and Arizona, and Utah. Tourists are surely tired of seeing smut-like images that encourage the wasteful practice of gambling and that demean the intelligence of women.
We thank the the U.S. Department of Education and other experts for exposing the fact that education in the State of Nevada is a mirage, a fraud, and essentially non-existent. Teachers of the Clark County School District are amongst the worst in the world, let alone the U.S.A; statistics and critics support this contention.
Many Clark County teachers are so lazy that they assign students to grade and teach other students; yet, these same teachers want a full salary and benefits for working part-time on a full-time shift. When their wages are threatened, Clark County teachers immediately seek out the Socialist union that represents teachers. Students are placed at the bottom; students and parents have to pay more for less services.
Students in Clark County Nevada, have been short-changed so many times by the Clark County School District that few even trust the school district. For example, parents report the fact that many software programs run by the School District (i.e., Parent Link, etc.) do not work but teachers want to immediately receive their salaries.
Unqualified teachers in the Clark Count School System are routinely shuffled and rotated from school to school, although they may not have any specific skill or training in the area in which they are being assigned. The Union makes it difficult to fire or terminate a free-loading and incompetent teacher.
It should be no surprise that Vegas.Com cried like a baby to Facebook Inc to censor Scholarships, Grants, and Financial-aid from Nevada students. Nevada students need an education, and they need qualified teachers, and they need a voice. Scholarships, Grants, and Loans WILL NOT be censored or deprived of providing accurate and truthful information about the pitiful state of affairs of Nevada education and how students are being short-changed.
National Academy of American Scholars was founded in 1988, and predates both Facebook Inc. and Vegas.com. In 15 years, FaceBook will be like AOL; a forgotten entity.
It is clear that Vegas.Com is not going to provide any scholarships, grants, or financial-aid to a single Nevada student from the sin wages it receives from its advertisers; alcohol, gambling, casinos; soft or semi-porn images; and who's who list of sin companies that use the game of chance to lure quarters, dollars, and hard-earned wages. You cannot purchase your way into Heaven with the wages of sin; too bad Steve Wynn.
In fact, gambling of all forms should be outlawed and banned in America. America rose to industrial prominence not by gambling, and casinos, but by hard-work, ethics, and creativity.
Gambling is a dumb-man's game. Gambling is wasteful, non-productive, socially destructive, encourages and promotes other crimes, and is designed to enrich the privileged few who qualify for gaming licenses that are in fact issued subject to favoritism, discrimination, and tainted social connections. Less than 1% of any African-American has a gaming license in Nevada, but the poor chaps account for over 35% of revenue generated. Less than 3% of Latinos own a Nevada gaming license. No locally-born Asians own a gaming license.
We oppose CENSORSHIP, and we opposed all forms of gambling. Las Vegas, NV has relied upon gambling for decades, and Las Vegas, NV students have been at the bottom of education for decades. A culture of gambling does not mix well with education.
Gambling, such as that promoted by Vegas.com, will always seek to be placed ahead of the student's best interest.
Once again, thank you U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter. We appreciate you exposing the sad condition of Nevada education.

However, this respect and appreciation does not mean that we will simply accept the blatant infringement of the NAAS brand.
According to their website, the National Association of Arms Show has "charted an ambitious program for the coming year. Our objective is to preserve and strengthen gun shows all across America, and we will need your help to accomplish these objectives." Correction: You are going to an NAAS License to use the trademark in the marketing and promotion of the NAAS label.
The National Association of Arms Show goes on to state: "The Obama administration has decided to wait for the right moment politically to move forward with their radical gun-control agenda...." When is the right moment to legitimize your use of the NAAS label by paying the appropriate license fee or displaying the NAAS.ORG website at all gunshows all over the country? Ok!
Wait a moment. What is more radical? a.) infringing upon a registering trademark, diluting the value of a registered trademark by linking the NAAS label to attacks upon the political policies of a U.S. President? or b.) A piece of political legislation that attempts to democratically address the concern of gun owners? The NAAS label is a registered trademark. Just like Apple, Microsoft, IBM, McDonalds, etc. What part of this fact does Robert Templeton, the so-called President of "NAAS" does not understand? Since Mr. Temple declined to obtained an official NAAS license, and apparently put his money behind his policital rhetoric that would justify his beliefs, and cause, we had no choice but to initiate legal action that resulted in the termination of his website.
Trademark Infringement is a federal criminal. If you are attempting to use the NAAS label for political causes, selling products or memberships under the NAAS label, or seeking to commercialize the NAAS brand in any way, form, or fashion, without valid approval or authorization from the registered trademark owner then it is only a matter of time that your scheme will be stopped.
Learn the lessons of others. Is public humiliation and embarrassment and the potential fines and legal fees really worth it, or do you have any intelligence or moral character to develop and create a label entirely different from labels associated with National Academy of American Scholars.??

Students who have signed up to receive NAAS Scholarship Text Alerts will receive free access to NAAS Award application forms, a complimentary NAAS Subscriber ID and they pay no fees as long as the application is submitted digitally. However, if they have no Institutional NAAS Subscriber ID and submit their forms via U.S. mail then a fee will accrue.
Students who have registered their name and mailing address, and email address with National Academy of American Scholars will receive free access to NAAS Award application forms, a complimentary NAAS Subscriber ID and they pay no fees as long as the application is submitted digitally. However, if they have no Institutional NAAS Subscriber ID and submit their forms via U.S. mail then a fee will accrue.
Students of NAAS Subscriber ID schools are not subject to any fee(s) regardless of the mode or manner of application submission or requests.
Therefore, the answer is very simple. Submit your forms online and pay no fees; or, submit applications via the U.S. mail and pay a fee. Is that a simple explanation?? I think so. I hope so. Good luck!!

National Academy of American Scholars predicts that the Digital Classroom will arrive by 2020. As America moves towards this Digital Classroom, the need to hire qualified teachers will increase, and place further strains on the education budget. Certain sectors of Corporate America, meanwhile, will reap the awards of the iPads, tablet books, mobile classroom, etc.
What teachers and administrators, face, however, is the choice between accessing the "right" digital resources. And, what platform will prevail? Android or iOS. Ninety-one percent of teachers surveyed reported having access to computers in their classrooms, but only one-in-five (22 percent) said they have the right level of technology. Nearly two-thirds (63 percent) of teachers cited budget as the biggest barrier to accessing tech in the classroom.
National Academy of American Scholars is a merit-based sponsor of financial-aid, scholarships, and grants. We are at the fore-front of change. We no longer emphasize that students write to us a standard letter and send a Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope to receive our literature. We simple use the NAAS short code of 99000 and students whom have the keyword know what to do. In low-income communities, however, technology is an even greater challenge. 70 percent of teachers reported it as the greatest obstacle. To reach these students, we recommend that administrators of these schools ensure that they remain on the official NAAS Mailing list. Although we discourage it, we realize that there is still a large subset of students who are reliant upon the U.S. Mail system. We recommend that the respective state Education Departments survey their respective students and parents and find the right mix of technology and old-school methods to better serve the classroom.

Updated forms have been uploaded to the NAAS Server to reflect our Los Angeles, CA office, and the most recent application instructions.
Also, the all-purpose NAAS form is the NAAS Multi-Media Packet Applications (Form 0028) because it contains the NAAS Platinum,Gold,Silver, Bronze, and NAAS-II Applications on a single 8.5 by 11 inch paper. The costs of this static packet for non-subscribers is just $4.99. However, if you are an NAAS Institutional Subscriber, your subscription allows you to receive the interactive/dynamic version, which is easier, and much faster to complete.
Students may use the school NAAS Institutional Subscriber ID to avoid any processing/administrative fee(s) if the forms are sent via U.S. mail.
The dynamic version may be transmitted via email, fax, online, or printed and sent via U.S. mail. The dynamic version allows for pause, wait, and resume of editing and it can be saved during any phase of its completion for later editing.

For this reason, National Academy of American Scholars, is intent on expanding its base of financial-aid sponsorships overseas to the growing markets abroad.
With the global need for financial-aid, the Internet is a convenient means of making international sponsorship of financial-aid a reality for Chinese, Indian, African, and European students who need funds to attend domestic or international schools.
