A recent audit released in November 2012 finds that the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has been slow to report on teacher misconduct in the school district. According to the report, LAUSD officials have repeatedly failed to promptly inform a California panel about serious allegations of teacher misconduct, teacher perversity, teacher lewdness, and numerous incidents of LAUSD teacher employees groping and molesting children at will.
For the record, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California. The Los Angeles Unified School District is the 2nd largest public school district in the United States, behind only the New York City Department of Education.
In recent years, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has served over 700,000 students, and has over 46,473 teachers and over 39,594 other employees.
Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the second largest employer in Los Angeles County, after the county government.
The numbers are impressive, but so is the peril to children and youth. It is estimated that approximately 3 percent of LAUSD teachers have engaged in some form of prohibited conduct involving either students or teachers.
The recent audit is indeed frightening, but should not come as any surprise because the standards of employment for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) have been steadlily droppng for over 20 years. As the school systems contends with numerous new citizens, recent immigrants, an surge in various nationalities, new and expanding definitions of societal standards and mores, and its regid attempts to recruit a workforce that can accomodate such vast dissimilarities, it is not altogether surprising that various problems will arise.
Approximately, 10 months ago, the Los Angeles Unified School District was left reeling by the arrest of a teacher at Miramonte Elementary School for allegedly spoon-feeding semen to students in a classroom. Clearly, he teacher involved must have been involved in some incident prior to this sick episode.
At the time, Los Angeles Unified School District officials acknowledged that they did not swiftly send all serious misconduct allegations to a government commission on Teacher Credentialing, which apparently keeps a database that school systems use to verify teaching licenses.
The shocking audit found that Los Angeles Unified School District officials submitted at least 144 cases of alleged teacher misconduct more than a year later than required, and at least 31 of cases of alleged teacher perversity/misconduct were not submitted until at least three years after the accusation or act; consequently, the safety of students and fellow teachers were being neglected.
In school districts such as the Los Angeles Unified School District officials and the Clark County School District (another hit bed of teacher perversity), students and parents need to be informed of teachers who have been accused, warned, or lawfully charged with misconduct.
So, what does all this mean for students and youth? The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) must do a better job of teacher recruitment, and background investigations. Single teachers need to be scrutinized more, along with single men.

In fact, Clark County school teachers, and the Clark County Education Association that promotes the illicit agenda of the Clark County school teachers, had the federal grant intended for thoudands of Clark County students in their cross-hairs for months. Clark County school teachers have been secretly urging the Clark County Education Association to REJECT any funding for Clark County students that even remotely impacts the salaries of the worst teachers in the U.S.A.
It is no secret that the Clark County Education Association has been at odds (extreme conflict, actually) with the Clark County School District for several years. The dispute IS NOT about school supplies, text books, or class-room space, or the integrity of the teaching process. No. The only and most significant dispute that the Clark County Education Association has had with the Clark County School District is the size and rate of teacher salary increases.
Clark County, Nevada residents and parents have not the backbone to protest this sort of fraud, deceit, and inferior use of educational resources. Slavery may have ended over 200 years ago, but many Clark County residents have the mindset of 17th century slaves waiting for the crumbs thrown beneath their feet and to the ground by the Clark County Education Association.
While Clark County teachers have affairs with other teachers, meet the married spouses of their targets at local Starbucks, and dress in fashionable clothes each day, parents and students have been told to SHUT-UP. More specificially, parents have been told to shut the F$#$ up, and accept:
- crowded classrooms;
- no text-books;
- voided exams that have not been graded due to budget cuts;
- sex-crazed, perverted teachers that target married spouses of other teachers, as well as minors;
- low standards
The Clark County Education Association, which is one of the most despicable, student-hating unions in the U.S.A., was required to approve the request by the Clark County School District. Instead of seeking the best interests of the students, The Clark County Education Association (i.e., the Clark County school teachers) viewed the proposed grant-in-waiting as a threat to teacher salaries, and their fiefdom. According to local media reports, the federal grant would have benefited 41,000 students at 63 Clark County schools, and would have provided funding for high-technology tools and literacy intervention. Additionally, the Clark County School District also could have hired at least 22 teachers plus 24 support staff.
Like mind-controlled robots and slaves, parents will never protest the actions of the teachers because many Clark County parents simply do not read or understand the fact that the Clark County Education Association is playing poltics and greed with their children's education.

The answer to that question is really simple because Governor Mitt Romney never offered not a comprehensive student plan to increase scholarships, grants, and financial-aid for millions of Americans. Governor Romney never offered to promote and encourage millions of students to apply for scholarships, grants, and financial-aid sponsored by National Academy of American Scholars.
National Academy of American Scholars offered to meet with the top representatives of Mitt Romney, but all we were provided access to was the California campaign director.
Governor Mitt Romney did not seem to understand the importance and the role of National Academy of American Scholars connecting students to sponsored scholarships, grants, and financial-aid.
The position of Barack Obama is fairly clear: support private and non-profit programs like National Academy of American Scholars, and encourage other private entities and non-profit programs to sponsor scholarships, grants, and financial-aid programs, as well as low-cost student debt instruments that involves little government assistance, no new taxes, and which are 100% financed by the private sector.
Americans gave Mr. Romney several months to articulate his position on student financial-aid, student scholarships, grants, and loans. Yet, Mr. Romney fumbled the ball, and lost an election that was within his reach. Mitt Romney NEVER reached out to support private and non-profit scholarship sponsors like National Academy of American Scholars.

The position of Barack Obama is fairly clear: he envisions the federal government assisting millions of students secure financing for their collegiate education. President Barack Obama proposes the following student loan reform measures.
President Obama compares his scholarships, grants, and financial-aid plans with Romney's positions. Specifically, President Obama promotes a "Pay As You Earn" plan, which caps monthly federal student loan repayment at 10 percent of monthly discretionary income. It also breaks down benefits depending on where someone lives.
Whereas his opponent, Mitt Romney offered not a plan but a rebuke to current and touted scholarship, grants, and financial-aid plans. For example, Mitt Romney was asked by a college student in August 2012 what he would do if elected to address the student debt crisis. Romney said. "I am not going to tell you something that is not the truth, because you know, that is just taking money from your other pocket and giving it to the other pocket."
Romney added, "I'm not going to promise all sorts of free stuff that I know you're going to end up paying for. What I want to do is give you a great job so you'll be able to pay it back yourself. And I want to get the government off your back, so you can keep more of what you earned."
That sounds wonderful from Mitt Romney. However, if you are going to give us sugar-coated soothing words, we need at least some bread and/or meat too.
The Obama plan for improving scholarships, grants, and financial-aid appears to represent at least a sandwich of solid proposals whereas Mitt Romney suggests to students to simply borrow more funds from your parents. We all know that traditional parents do not have an extra $15,000, or $45,000 sitting around the house. Perhaps the friends of Mitt Romney, a reputed billionaire, have such funds; however, the typical American parent does not.
If students are going to borrow money, I suggest that your parents should be your last alternative. Your first option should be private lenders. One great source is detailed in our article about student loans, and personal loans.
